Catherine Caradus (ACA, FGIA/FCIS), the founder of Glenfarne Consulting, was until recently the Senior Director, Private Equity Real Estate at TMF Group for the APAC region (2016-19). Prior to this, she was the founding Managing Director of TMF Group Australia for 10 years growing it from 4 people to 70 professionals. In those 10 years from 2006 to 2016, she was responsible for developing the business, expanding the service lines and in particular growing the PERE business within TMF Group to the largest in the APAC region.
Prior to the TMF Group role, she headed up the Corporate Secretarial Group for Ernst & Young who sold this business line to TMF Group in 2006. In her professional career, she has worked for Permanent Trustee Company, PwC as well as a mid sized accounting firm. During her time at TMF Group, Catherine's experience in managing all the components of varying business units, understanding and managing elements of the constant flow of projects, assisting PE and PERE clients with their transaction implementation and on-going needs, providing governance solutions for the company's clients and acting as the resident director for many of the firm's clients, has provided her with the skills and ability to think solutionally in particularly for wholesale private equity clients which is her current focus.
